If the vehicle is valued at over $500, then the owner will receive written notification allowing 20 days to reclaim their vehicle.
The owner of the vehicle must come to the department of Code Enforcement with proof of ownership and pay the towing and storage fees. The Department of Code Enforcement is located on the 13th floor of the County-City Building, 227 W Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, IN, 46601.
