Who may request a fire report?
Fire Reports are available to residents, attorneys, or insurance companies requiring information about a South Bend Fire Department response.
How do I request a Fire Report?
Fire reports can be requested either by emailing APRApra@southbendin.gov or calling the Administrative office at 574-235-9255. Administrative office hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
When can I make a fire report request?
Fire reports are available during our office hours from 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday excepting City Holidays.
Fire reports are generally available on the next business day following the event.
Is there a fee for a Fire Report?
There will be no charge if you have provided your email address on the Apra form.
If the report is mailed out or picked up at the office. The charge can be up to $25.00

Where can a Fire Report be picked up?
Fire reports can be picked up or requested at the South Bend Fire Department Administrative Offices located at 1222 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, Indiana, 46601.
The South Bend Fire Department provides reports for incidents that occur within the City limits of South Bend. If you have a 5 digit address, you would need to contact the Township Fire Department that provides your services.
