What 2024 holidays will impact trash service?

The 2024 designated holidays that will impact service are listed below. Service will be delayed by one day for those whose normal pickup falls on or after the holiday during the same week:

Monday, January 1, 2024 — New Year’s Day (observed)

Monday, January 15, 2024 — Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Monday, May 27, 2024 — Memorial Day

Wednesday, June 19, 2024 — Juneteenth (observed)

Thursday, July 4, 2024 — Independence Day

Monday, September 2, 2024 — Labor Day

Monday, November 11, 2024 — Veteran’s Day

Thursday, November 28, 2024 — Thanksgiving

Wednesday, December 25, 2024 — Christmas Day

When will my trash get collected due to a holiday?

When a holiday falls on or before your normal pickup day (Monday — Thursday), service will occur on the following day. For example, if a holiday is on a Monday, the trash pickup schedule for the week is as follows:

Monday – Service will occur on Tuesday.
Tuesday – Service will take place on Wednesday.
Wednesday – Service will occur on Thursday.  
Thursday – Service will take place on Friday.

Weather and/or extenuating circumstances may also delay trash service by more than a day.
